This Yamazakura Asaka The First Peated is a delicious single malt produced by the Sasanokawa Shuzo distillery and released under their Yamazakura brand. It was created using peated spirit and matured for just over 3 years. Despite being a young whisky, it delivers with a range of compelling aromas and flavours, including gentle but building peat smoke.

Nose: The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt and spice.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.
