Westward American Single Malt begins by brewing a delicious, artisanal American ale, from scratch, using locally malted barley, ale yeast, and a slow, low-temperature fermentation. The fresh beer is then distilled twice in custom low-reflux pot stills designed to create a robust spirit, transforming our fresh beer into whiskey. Westward is aged to perfection in new, charred American Oak barrels, then mingled in small batches to achieve Westwards signature flavor profile balanced and bold, with just the right amount of spice and sweetness.
