This is a complex yet balanced blend of 5 contemporary Irish whiskeys, namely 40% dark grain, aged in virgin oak casks, 40% light grain, aged in ex-bourbon casks, 8% pot still, aged in ex-oloroso casks, 10% double malt, aged in ex-bourbon casks, and 2% peated malt, aged in ex-bourbon casks. A robust and diverse expression, it’s perfect for any occasion, especially for outdoor gatherings with your close ones. Enjoy it neat or with your favorite mixer. The rich tradition of Whiskey bottling and blending in Ireland, which dates back to the 1700s, has unfortunately almost completely vanished in the past 150 years. Founded in 2020 by Shane McCarthy, Donal McLynn, and Liam Brogan, honoring this priceless tradition in a contemporary manner. The name comes from the towering twin chimney stacks at the old distillery in Dundalk. Bringing back this dying art, Two Stacks offers modern Irish flavors using time-honored distilling techniques. Their expressions are hand-crafted with all production steps from sourcing, managing, blending, maturing, and finishing taking place on the Irish soil.
