Released as part of the distillery’s Custodian Collection, this first release has been created from the oldest cask at Tullibardine. Distilled just three years after the distillery was built, this was finished in small sherry casks. Just 70 bottles have been created and it is presented in a gold and crystal Baccarat decanter in a beautiful wooden cabinet with a pair of glasses. A piece of history and a true collector’s item.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: This is extremely smoky with exceptionally balanced in flavour.

Finish: This is a very light and refreshing malt.

Distillery Information

Tullibardine distillery is a Scottish distillery since 1949, producing a single malt whisky. The whisky distillery is located in Blackford, Perth and Kinross, close to the Ochil Hills and the Danny Burn, their main water sources. The distillery was mothballed in 1995 by then owner Whyte & Mackay.
