The Black Series Scotch Whisky is a rare and exclusive single cask release from the Speyside region. Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2020, this whisky has been aged for 45 years in a single hogshead cask. On the nose, it has intense aromas of sweet sherry, rich dark chocolate and dried fruits. On the palate, it is full-bodied and sweet, with notes of treacle, sultanas, figs, spices and a hint of smoked oak. The finish is long and complex, with a hint of smoke and a pleasant sweetness.
