This Tamdhu 16-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing’s Old Particular range was distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2020. It has been matured in a refill hogshead, producing an intense and complex whisky with an aroma of creamy vanilla, dried fruits and a hint of orange. On the palate, the whisky is sweet and fruity, with notes of honey, oak, spice and toffee. The finish is long and warming, with a touch of sweet spice. This whisky is a great example of a well-aged single malt, and would make a great addition to any whisky collection.
