This particular whisky was distilled in 1955 and bottled in 1993. It is a cask strength expression, meaning that it has not been diluted with water before bottling. The whisky has a deep, golden color and a smoky aroma with hints of vanilla, oak, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex with flavors of peat smoke, sweet malt, dried fruits, and toasted oak. The finish is long and warming with lingering smoke and sweetness.
