From Northern Irish craft gin distillery Rademon Estate comes its first edition in the Shortcross Gin Bartender Series. This expression is a collaboration between head distiller David Boyd-Armstrong and the winner of the brand’s Shortcross Signature Serve competition Alan Glynn of 37 Dawson Street in Dublin. The duo dialled down the juniper in favour of more fruit in the botanical mix, with apples, blackberries and pears handpicked from Shortcross’ walled garden, as well as a twist of raspberry and grapefruit. It received Gold from The Spirits Business from its Gin Masters competition in 2018.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
