Rum Plantation 2007 Panama Syrah (Cote-Rotie) Cask is a rum from the Alcoholes Del Istmo distillery in Panama, produced from molasses and column distilled. It spent its first 11 years of aging in the tropics in traditional oak bourbon casks. It was then transported to France, where it was placed in Ferrand cognac casks for two years, before being placed in Syrah (Cte-Rotie) wine casks for an additional 10 months. Bottled in 2021.
