Another exceptional release from legendary master distiller Parker Beam at Heaven Hill. This year he’s selected a 10 year wheated bourbon and bottled it at barrel proof. This comes from the Bernheim distillery which Heaven Hill acquired in 1999. This is the first of two batchs and comes in at a hefty 63.9%. Less than 5,000 bottles will be bottled. Rated 93 points by John Hansell across the pond, so we expect this to move pretty quick.

Parker’s Heritage 10 Year Old Wheated Mash 4th Edition Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft, sweet, and very smooth.

Palate: Richly textured layers of caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, nougat, maple syrup, and rhum agricole. Bramble, date, cinnamon, subtle cocoa and nutmeg add complexity.

Finish: Lingering.

Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc., was founded in Bardstown, Kentucky by the Shapira family to produce and market Bourbon and premium American whiskeys.
