This single malt whisky is drawn from a single cask of bourbon-seasoned oak that was filled in 1973. Distilled in October of that year, it was aged for over 36 years in this cask, giving it a rich, deep color and intense aroma. Bottled at 44% ABV, this whisky has been matured in a cask that has been re-toasted and re-charred, giving it a deep amber color and a hint of smokiness.
