The folks behind G’Vine have relaunched their Nouaison Gin! Along with handsome new bottle, this gin also received a slightly altered recipe. While the base spirit remains the same (it’s made with a distillate of Ugni Blanc grapes – the kind that usually end up being used for Cognac), the recipe now features a selection of 14 botanicals and has been bumped up to 45% ABV.

G’Vine Nouaison Gin | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Balanced and very herbal. Plenty of woody, grapey notes, really work well here. Rich and sweet juniper, warming.

Palate: Fruity, lots of flavour. Spices, sweet exotic spices, oranges, marmalade, floral, blossom, smooth and supple grape, good body, tangy.

Finish: Herbal, fruity, plenty of bark, zesty.
