Rum Explorer Guyana is a distillate from the only currently operating distillery in Guyana, Demerara Distillers. It is a molasses-based liquor distilled in alembics. It is a blend of rums aged in oak casks for 2 and 5 years, and after blending, this rum was transferred to oloroso sherry casks for another 7 months.
