Rum Explorer Dominican Republic is a liquor from the Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos distillery. It was aged partly in bourbon casks and partly in port casks. Some of the distillates spent 3 years in barrels, others as much as 8. Finally, in France, the blend of these rums was poured into calvados barrels for the final stage of maturation.
