Introducing a Limited Edition Single Barrel selected & signed by Hall of Fame Legend & MVP Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez the former Major League Baseball catcher for the Texas Rangers, Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Houston Astros & Washington Nationals. This is the second single barrel selection by Pudge for 2022 partnered with El Mayor and their Estate Grown Masters Collection Tequila.

Introducing a Hand Selected Anejo Tequila by Pudge Rodriguez. Last year in 2021, (2) single barrels of Reposado were selected. This year in 2022 we continue with a 2nd Edition Series by El Mayor Estate Grown Masters Collection where available are (1) Reposado and (1) Anejo Hand Selected Single Barrels offered to tequila and baseball connoisseurs alike. If your new to tequila one may ask whats the difference between Reposado and Anejo Tequilas? Well Reposado is aged in oak barrels for up to 1 year whereas Anejo (which means old in spanish) will age between 1 years and 3 years giving it richer flavors typically of vanilla, cinnamon and caramel.

This is a collectors edition tequila and will dazzle your taste-buds notably becoming a shelf talker between friends and family while it lasts on your shelf. These single barrels are sold in very limited quantities produced from (one) single barrel which are guaranteed to sell out. Anejo Tequila yields less bottles due to evaporation aging in the barrel over time. The distillery, DGL Destiladores (Destiladora Gonzlez Luxco), is located just outside the city of Arandas, in the highlands of Jalisco a prime location for the superior agave used in these premium tequilas. DGL denys the decades-old partnership in making tequila between the Lux and Gonzlez families.
