The second release of Scottish rye whisky from Arbikie distillery, distilled from a combination of Aranted Scottish rye, Viscount wheat and Odyssey malted barley, before being matured in a combination of charred American oak casks and ex-Armagnac barrels. The palate offers sweet notes of sticky dates, dried apricot and vegetal caraway.

Arbikie has already secured a reputation as one of Scotlands most experimental distilleries, despite holding back from releasing a whisky for 14 years. Family owned by three creative fourth generation farmers, and dainty in size, Arbikie has the manoeuvrability to experiment with different barley strains and seasonal variations.
