The rum is aged for a minimum of 15 years in oak barrels which gives it a rich, complex flavor profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and spices. The name “Anacaona” is taken from a Tano queen, Anacaona, who was the leader of the Tano people in the Caribbean.
