Tequila Alderete is a small boutique distiller that has the pride of sharing with you the tradition that runs through our veins. Their Tequila is an Ultra Premium Tequila made from 100% Blue Agave, handcrafted in small batches in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. This particular region is called Los Altos de Jalisco or the highlands of Jalisco. Here the Blue Agave Tequilana Weber flourishes in this u…nique microclimate and fertile volcanic soil. Only the Agaves that have reached their highest degree of maturity are selected for harvest, while their Maestro Tequilero strictly adheres to the traditional process of distillation in copper vertical stills. The Blanco Tequila is bottled directly after this process. While their Reposado Tequila is aged for 6 months in American white oak barrels and our Anejo is aged for 27 months in white oak barrels.

Alderete Blanco Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Boasting a subtle floral bouquet with a hint of lemongrass and a very light pineapple scent. The nose doesn’t overpower, but rather enhances the crisp herbal agave flavor you get upon entry, which is backed by bold, clean notes of citrus.

Palate: Once you sip the tequila, additional notes of floral tropical fruits come through as a nice compliment to both the bouquet and initial flavor.

Finish: The finish is well balanced and is delightfully smooth as it goes down with a silky herbal agave aftertaste.
