Producer Information

The winery is now lead by oenologists Luca Bosio and Mario Albrito, who create a great and solid team merging their knowledge and experiences. At Bel Colle, every action in the vineyard is a gesture of respect for the extraordinary terroir from which the excellence of the wines we produce come from.We have therefore chosen to practice low-impact viticulture, harmonizing the work around a principle of sustainability that involves every aspect of our presence in the vineyard. The vineyards are worked by hand using organic compounds and preparations. We do not use systemic treatments or herbicides. Fertilization is organic and the inter-row is grassed with leguminous plants that, once green manured, enrich the vitality of the soil. Pest control proceeds thanks to pheromone traps with sexual confusion and chromatic traps, which have allowed us to zero out the use of pesticides. Harvesting is manual, as is every operation on the greenery, which is done to allow each plant to develop its natural resilience and grant its best fruits.
