It is produced from molasses by continuous distillation in a 1922 copper distillation column in the Las Cabras distillery. It matured for 15 years in burnt American white oak oak bourbon barrels, filtered through cellulose membranes, then cold filtered.

Autntico Nativo 15 Year Old Special Reserve Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: Dark almost burnt caramel/sugar, some coffee, vanilla, wood, and a touch of chocolate.

Finish: Finish is smooth and long.

Distillery Information

This product is been developed by Caribbean Rum Factory in Las Cabras Distillery, based at west of Panama City. Using a columns distillation process, this traditional continuous distilling process was first implemented in the industry at the early 1800s.

Caribbean Rum Factory use a combination of the Cuban traditional method for aging and blending and the ancestral Spanish method, giving as result this extraordinary Rums.
