The Teeling Dark Porter Finish Small Batch Collaboration is a unique collaboration between two independent Irish distilleries, Teeling Whiskey and Porterhouse Brewing. This collaboration brings together two of Irelands oldest craft industries and creates a unique whiskey. The whiskey is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished for 6 months in Porterhouse Brewing’s dark porter barrels. The result is a whiskey with a unique flavor profile. The initial maturation in ex-bourbon casks gives the whiskey sweet and spicy notes of vanilla, toffee and honey. The 6 month finish in Porterhouse Brewing’s dark porter barrels adds a rich, chocolatey complexity that lingers on the palate.
