Pays Welche is where the French village of Lapoutroie is located, in the middle of the picturesque mountains at the foothills of the Vosges ridges. It’s also where the G. Miclo distillery is based, which produced this bottle of Welche’s Whisky Fine Tourb. The whisky was double distilled and aged in French Burgundy wine barrels, producing a very gently peated single malt weighing in at 10ppm.
