Italian indie bottler Samaroli has got its hands on another excellent rum here, this time distilled in Barbados! It was matured in a single cask that was laid down back in 2007, and eventually cracked open in 2021, before being bottled up at 45% ABV.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: Warming oak, with a slow build of floral vanilla and orange blossom, sweet marzipan, and just a few flakes of sea salt.

Finish: Quite long and warm.
