Drinks like a gin, but with less juniper character and a more pronounced malt backbone and rye undertones. Oude means old, aged a little under a year in oak, and that character shows.

Boomsma Genever Oude Gin Tasting Notes

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Quite long and warm, with just a hint of smoke.
