Reyka distillery collect water from a spring that runs through a lava field. The water is naturally filtered by the lava rock and with that clean water they distill their spirit in one of the few Carter-Head Stills in the world. Each distillation takes about 6 hours and yields 255 preciously small cases. The final vodka contains only natural flavors and extracts.

Nose: A delightful nose of sweet rose and fresh-cut hay fills the senses with clarity.

Palate: The palate is silky and marked with rose, lavender, and a surprisingly spicy cedar.

Finish: Short finish with undertones of warm citrus and grain.

Distillery Information

Reyka is distilled in Borgarnes (say Bor-gan-ess), Iceland, a coastal village surrounded by rich natural resources. The air here is so clean, our CO2 levels are actually falling. Our master distiller is rur Sigursson, who is also the local fireman and policeman.
